
You’ve probably heard the saying “Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.” For me in 2021, that means organizing my life. I’ve learned I thrive on to-do list. Give me something to check-off, its far more likely to get finished. It drives me absolutely crazy to leave something unchecked.
To help keep me organized I’ve added two apps to my phone. One is more of a to-do list and the other is a creative calendar. I’ll go into more detail below. You might only need one, but for me they each serve a different purpose to help me keep organized in my personal and work life. Plus they both have desktop options that quickly sync with your phone or tablet.
Todoist is the best to-do list app I’ve found. I use it primarily to keep track of work projects and daily tasks. What I love is the scheduling feature that allows you to simply type “every 1st Friday of the month” and your item will automatically schedule and repeat every first Friday of the month. You can set alarms and even invite others to a project. It’s an awesome to-do list! Cost starts at $3 per month.

I recently found Artful Agenda and I’m in love with it. If you love planners and creativity, you need to take a look at Artful Agenda.
